  • Multiplying Like Jesus | Becoming a Jesus Church: Week 7
    Oct 26 2026

What God has done in you was never meant to end with you.

In the final week of our All Church Journey, Pastor Dan challenges us to become people who multiply like Jesus. Jesus didn’t simply gather a crowd. He intentionally invested His life into others, formed disciples and sent them out to do the same.

Discipleship is more than learning information or being inspired by a message. It happens when we intentionally walk with one another, encourage one another, speak truth and help each other actually obey what Jesus taught.

Throughout this series, we’ve discovered what it means to become:

    • Prayerful like Jesus

    • Compassionate like Jesus

    • Serving like Jesus

    • Obedient like Jesus

    • Generous like Jesus

    • Multiplying like Jesus

Every follower of Jesus has something to give. Your gifts, experiences, struggles, faith and everything God has done in your life can become an expression of His grace in someone else’s life.

The question is: Who are you multiplying into?

    📖 Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 3:6–9, Genesis 1:28, Mark 3:14, Matthew 28:18–20, 1 Corinthians 4:14–16, 1 Peter 4:10, 1 Corinthians 12:27

  • Generous Like Jesus | Becoming a Jesus Church: Week 6
    Oct 19 2026

What does it really mean to be generous like Jesus?

Generosity doesn’t begin with our wallets—it begins with grace. In 2 Corinthians 8, Paul points to the churches of Macedonia as an incredible example of people whose experience of God’s grace changed the way they held everything they had.

In this message from our Becoming a Jesus Church journey, Pastor Dan explores how the generosity of God transforms our hearts and moves us toward lives of surrender, trust and open-handed generosity.

When we understand the richness of the grace we’ve received in Jesus, generosity becomes an outward response to what God has already given us.

Where has grace not yet changed your grip?

    📖 2 Corinthians 8:1–15

  • Obedient Like Jesus | Becoming a Jesus Church: Week 5
    Oct 12 2026

What does it really mean to love Jesus?

Love is more than something we say—it’s something we show. In this message from our Becoming a Jesus Church series, we look at the connection between love, obedience and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commands.” But biblical obedience isn’t simply following a list of rules. It’s fidelity to the living God—an expression of a heart that has been transformed by Jesus and empowered by His Spirit.

We’ll explore what Scripture teaches about:
    • Why obedience is an expression of love
    • How sin disorders what we love
    • Why we need more than willpower—we need a new heart
    • How the Holy Spirit leads us into obedience
    • Why obedience can be costly
    • How baptism is an important step of publicly following Jesus

Following Jesus isn’t just about what we say we believe. Love requires us not just to tell, but also to show.

    📖 Key Scriptures: Jeremiah 3, Deuteronomy 6 & 30, John 14, Romans 8, James 4, Matthew 26 and Acts 2

  • Serving Like Jesus | Becoming a Jesus Church: Week 4
    Oct 5 2026

What does greatness look like in the Kingdom of God?

As we continue our Becoming a Jesus Church series, Pastor Dan looks at Jesus washing His disciples’ feet in John 13 and the radically different picture of greatness Jesus gives us. While the world often measures greatness by position, influence and how many people serve us, Jesus shows us that Kingdom greatness is found in humbly serving others.

When we are secure in who we are in Christ, we’re free to lay down our status, preferences and convenience to meet the needs around us. Jesus served us first—and He calls us to follow His example.

How much of your life are you willing to give away for Jesus?

  • When Compassion Moves Us | Becoming a Jesus Church: Week 3
    Sep 28 2026

What does it mean to have compassion like Jesus, and how should God’s compassion change the way we respond to people in need?

In this sermon from our Becoming a Jesus Church series, Pastor Dan explores the compassion of God and what it means for followers of Jesus to become compassionate people. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus doesn’t simply notice people who are hurting, helpless, or broken—He is moved toward them.

Biblical compassion is more than sympathy or feeling sorry for someone. Compassion sees the spiritual and physical needs of people and moves toward them to help carry their burden. Jesus looked at the crowds and saw people who were “harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd,” and His compassion moved Him to act.

That same compassion is at the heart of who God is. God describes Himself as compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in love. Rather than holding our weakness against us, our Heavenly Father sees our limitations and moves toward us with grace, forgiveness, love, and help.

    In this message, discover:
    • What biblical compassion really means
    • The difference between compassion and sympathy
    • Why Jesus was moved toward hurting and broken people
    • How compassion helps us see people differently
    • Why Christians should move toward people who are different from us
    • What God’s compassion reveals about His character
    • How God responds to our weakness
    • How becoming like Jesus changes the way we respond to the needs around us

📖 Scriptures include Matthew 9:36–10:8, Exodus 34:5–7, and Psalm 103:8–14.

If you want to become more like Jesus, compassion cannot remain something you simply feel. The compassion of Christ moves us toward people who are hurting, spiritually lost, overwhelmed, or in need—and reminds us that God moves toward us in our weakness too.

  • How Prayer Changes You | Becoming a Jesus Church: Week 2
    Sep 20 2026

What does the Bible teach about prayer, and how can prayer actually change your life?

In this Christian sermon from our Becoming a Jesus Church series, Pastor Dan explores the purpose and power of prayer. Jesus was deeply devoted to prayer, and if we want to become more like Jesus, prayer must become more than something we do occasionally—it must become part of who we are.

Prayer is not simply asking God for things. Prayer is conversation with God that draws us closer to Him, transforms our hearts, and teaches us to depend fully on Him. Through prayer, we bring God our fears, decisions, struggles, gratitude, needs, and everyday circumstances while allowing the Holy Spirit to shape us into the image of Christ.

Looking at Jesus, Acts 2, and the early church, we see that prayer was their first response—not their last resort. They prayed together, sought God’s direction, depended on Him, and trusted Him to move.

    In this message, discover:
    • Why Christians should pray regularly
    • How prayer changes your heart
    • What it means to be devoted to prayer
    • Why prayer is conversation with God
    • How prayer helps us become more like Jesus
    • Why the church should pray together
    • How to depend on God in every situation

    📖 Scriptures include Acts 2:42–43, Luke 5:16, Romans 8:28–29, Hebrews 10:19–22, Psalm 62:8, Acts 17:28, Matthew 7:7, and Philippians 4:6.

If you want to grow in your prayer life, deepen your relationship with God, and become more like Jesus, we hope this message encourages you to make prayer your first response.

  • Jesus Builds His Church | Becoming a Jesus Church: Week 1
    Sep 13 2026

What does it really mean to become a Jesus Church?

In Matthew 16:13–21, Jesus makes a powerful promise: “I will build my church.” The church isn’t ultimately built by programs, buildings, leaders, or human effort. Jesus is the builder, Jesus is the foundation, and Jesus is the one transforming His people to become more like Him.

In this message, Pastor Dan begins our Becoming a Jesus Church All-Church Journey by exploring what Jesus intended His church to be: a community of people gathered together to be with Jesus and become like Jesus.

    You’ll discover:
    • Why Jesus is the builder and foundation of the Church
    • What “I will build my church” means in Matthew 16:18
    • Why becoming like Jesus is God’s plan for every believer
    • How the Holy Spirit transforms followers of Jesus
    • Why Christian community is essential for spiritual growth
    • How the gospel remains the foundation of the true Church

Following Jesus isn’t simply about attending church or doing more religious activities. It’s about allowing Jesus to transform who we are—from the inside out—as we follow Him together.

    Scripture: Matthew 16:13–21, Matthew 11:29, Romans 8:29, Ephesians 1:11, Ephesians 4:11–13, 1 Corinthians 3:10–11, Romans 12:1

Join us for the Becoming a Jesus Church journey as we learn together what it looks like to be with Jesus and become more like Him.

  • Can You Trust God With What Matters Most? (Genesis) | Legacy of Faith: Week 3
    Sep 6 2026

What does it look like to trust God when He asks you to surrender what matters most?

In Genesis 22, Abraham faces the greatest test of his faith when God asks him to place Isaac—the son connected to every promise God had given him—on the altar. Through Abraham’s story, we see what a life of faith ultimately requires: surrendering our fear, our need for control, our own strategies, and even the future we imagined.

But Abraham’s story also points us to something greater. Just as God provided the sacrifice for Abraham, He has provided the ultimate sacrifice for us through Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. Because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, we can approach God with confidence and trust Him even when we cannot understand what He is doing.

Faith doesn’t mean having every answer. It means trusting the God who does.

In this message from our Legacy series, discover what Abraham’s journey teaches us about surrender, God’s provision, resurrection faith, and finding our greatest treasure in God Himself.
