A proposito di questo titolo

Good Misses is a golf show from two working coaches who spend their days on the lesson tee, not in the algorithm. Kieran Harris is a PGA of Canada Class "A" professional and founder of Feel Good Golf Academy in Toronto. JT is Director of Instruction and co-owner of Fairhope Golf Works on the Alabama Gulf Coast.

Every week they take apart the advice in your feed: the jargon, the swing tips, the clickbait, and the myths. They keep it simple, they keep it honest, and they keep it fun, because golf isn't that serious. Expect real stories from the lesson tee, athletes and tour players who come through the shop, and straight answers about what actually makes golfers better.

New episodes every Tuesday. Good Misses is a Funnel Golf show.

  • You Cannot Close the Clubface With Your Pivot. Tiger Does It With His Hands | Good Misses Ep. 7
    Nov 3 2026

Kieran Harris and JT Perrine take on the next round of range myths: hit down on the ball, you have to take a divot to compress it, I just slowed it down, the slow-motion practice trend, and don't roll your hands versus hit it with your hands. Then the things that actually fix people: the Goldilocks principle (reverse the problem and calibrate the middle), JT's take on the video with four ways to close the clubface (your pivot is not one of them), Tiger saying he does it with his hands, the 2 to 1 ratio of path to face, what one degree really looks like, why a half-degree fix at impact is pure hand-eye coordination and timing, Zach Johnson's six-degree path, whether a swing change ever feels natural, and Kieran's cure for toe-hit fairway woods: aim for the heel.

  • I Hate the Towel Drill: 5 Golf Myths Your Range Buddy Keeps Repeating | Good Misses Ep. 6
    Oct 27 2026

Kieran Harris and JT Perrine take on the advice every golfer has heard from a buddy, a dad, or the guy on the next mat: keep your head down, eye on the ball, keep your left arm straight, keep your right elbow tucked, never lift your left heel. A newer golfer fixed in a 12-second conversation, a Gears lesson that found 35 yards, the dad barking eye on the ball at a 7-year-old, why the culprit is the right arm and not the left, Rory McIlroy's 55 degrees of right elbow bend, JT coming out and saying he hates the towel drill, the method pro at Abacoa, Tiger and Molinari at the 2019 Masters, and the question to close: more majors won by heel lifters or non-heel lifters?

  • Jackson Koivun Won. Then Everybody Became a Back Doctor | Good Misses Ep. 5
    Oct 20 2026

Kieran Harris and JT Perrine on what happens the week after somebody wins on tour: every golf account breaks down the swing, and this time the word is side bend. Jackson Koivun wins his first tournament and the internet gives his back two years. JT opens his Gears spreadsheet of 105 tour players to show how wide the ranges really are, why early extension isn't the demon it's made out to be, and how often the golfers who swear they early extend measure zero. Plus why JT plays better on 15 rounds a year, Kieran's two-year swing rebuild after tennis elbow, steel vs. graphite iron shafts, and the two questions Kieran texts back to every swing video: how's the contact and how's the ball flight?
