A proposito di questo titolo

Sometimes the moment we realize we’ve been giving too much doesn’t come in a dramatic way. It shows up quietly — at the end of a long day when we feel emotionally exhausted and begin to wonder when we last showed up for ourselves the same way we show up for others.

In this episode of Break the Silence, we explore what it means to love deeply without losing ourselves in the process.

In honor of Women's History Month, I begin by reflecting on the strength of the women who shaped my life — especially my grandmother. In the 1920s she moved by herself from Vermont to Mexico and went on to raise nine children. She lived through a time when people traveled by horse and buggy and later saw humans walk on the moon. Her life is a powerful reminder of the quiet resilience that often runs through generations of women.

From there, we explore a question many of us face in relationships, friendships, and family dynamics:
How do we care for others while still caring for ourselves?

In this episode we talk about:
• Recognizing the signs of emotional exhaustion
• Why many of us feel responsible for fixing or carrying others
• The importance of boundaries and self-awareness
• The reminder of the three Cs: You didn’t cause it. You can’t control it. You can’t cure it.

This conversation is an invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your own voice. Because loving others should never require you to lose yourself.
