Today we are studying John Chapter 1. In this chapter, we are introduced to Jesus as the Word—eternal, divine, and present from the very beginning. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). We see that He is the source of life and light, and that light shines in the darkness. We also see the powerful truth that “the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14), meaning Jesus came to live among us so we could know God personally. This chapter also introduces John the Baptist, who points others to Jesus, and we see the first disciples begin to follow Him. This chapter calls us to recognize who Jesus truly is and respond to Him in faith.

Today we are studying Luke Chapter 24. In this chapter, we see the resurrection of Jesus—the foundation of our faith. The tomb is empty, and the message is clear: “He is not here, but He has risen” (Luke 24:6). We see confusion turn into understanding as Jesus reveals Himself to His followers. On the road to Emmaus, their hearts burn as He opens the Scriptures, and later He appears to the disciples, bringing peace and assurance. This chapter reminds us that Jesus is alive, that His promises are true, and that our faith is rooted in a living Savior. It calls us to move from doubt to belief and to live with boldness because of the resurrection.

Today we are studying Luke Chapter 23. In this chapter, we witness the trial, crucifixion, and burial of Jesus. Though He is innocent, He is condemned, mocked, and led to the cross. Yet even in His suffering, Jesus shows mercy, saying, “Father, forgive them” (Luke 23:34). We see the contrast between rejection and faith as one criminal turns to Him and is promised, “Today you will be with Me in paradise” (Luke 23:43). This chapter reveals the depth of Christ’s love and the price of our redemption. It calls us to recognize Him as King, respond with faith, and reflect on the sacrifice that made our salvation possible.
