In this episode of Give Me A Chance!,  Lynne tells how she got the chance to change her life and started thriving again by running away from a dangerous family situation. Lynne's marriage to her first husband started to crumble down in the late '70s as he suffered from the mental health scars of fighting in the Vietnam War. The only way to escape from this situation was to grab her children, flee to California and find a way to begin a new life away from him. Many years on, Lynne is a proud grandma and she has recently published a cookbook for diabetics, Brownies for Breakfast.
