  • How to use the Tapping Technique to Calm Your ADHD Mind
    Oct 19 2026
Get in touch to see how I can help you! https://giftedwithadhd.co.uk/ In this solo episode, Juliet explores those overwhelming days when the ADHD mind makes absolutely everything—from emails to forgotten messages—feel like an immediate crisis. This false sense of urgency can trigger intense anxiety, culminating in a very real, physical sensation of panic within the body. To combat this overwhelming state, the episode focuses on utilising the tapping technique to soothe the nervous system. By learning how to physically interrupt the cycle of panic, you can calm your body's stress response and safely step back from the chaos to regain control of your day. ABOUT THE HOST: Juliet was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 50, after a lifetime of believing she was fundamentally flawed—without realising there was a biological explanation behind her struggles. Years of executive dysfunction, perimenopause, and rising anxiety had left her overwhelmed and questioning her own potential. Her diagnosis marked a turning point. She immersed herself in understanding ADHD and, in doing so, discovered something even more transformative: a spiritual perspective on what it means to be human. Through this lens, Juliet was able to release limiting identities shaped by five decades of misunderstanding herself. She learned how to navigate emotions—like anxiety—with greater ease. She has two-years training in counselling and now has an established coaching practice supporting adults. Blending practical strategies with grounded spirituality, Juliet helps her clients find clarity, inner peace, and the confidence to live their life with purpose to reach their full potential and thrive with ADHD. • How to Calm Your Busy ADHD Brain
    Oct 12 2026
Get in touch to see how I can help you! https://giftedwithadhd.co.uk/ In this episode of Gifted With ADHD, Juliet sits down with Clare Downham, the "Queen of Calm," for a conversation about a profound paradigm shift. Juliet shares how discovering Clare's work served as the catalyst for transforming her mental health and finding an unexpected level of peace and freedom. Together, they discuss the danger of "masking"—comparing it to putting a smiley face sticker over a car's dashboard warning light so you don't have to look at it. They explore the intensity of ADHD emotions, reframing them not as obstacles standing in the way, but as essential indicators of our state of mind. By learning to actually feel and allow our emotions, we can stop them from causing havoc and use them as the key to unlock true transformation. ABOUT CLARE Clare Downham known as, the Queen of Calm is a life and business coach who helps driven, caring professionals and business owners move from overthinking and overwhelm to calm, clarity, and ease.
