One of Nate's long time best friends pops in to talk about spiritual growth through the years. What does being a faithful parent look like? They also discuss leaving a congregation and what it takes to walk back through the door. What steps can we take to make it easier for others to return?

(Acts 8:26-40) - Paths cross, creating another life changing moment. A desert road didn't stop the good news from being shared. What opportunities has God brought us to? Will I be ready to help someone begin their steps to follow Christ?

(Acts 8:1-25) - New territory is ventured as the believers are scattered. They will break social norms and cross cultural boundaries. The apostles see through a counterfeit Christian and challenge motives to the core. Who am I magnifying? The believers continue to promote Christ instead of themselves.

(Acts 6&7) - What am I willing to die for? Stephen didn't just wait tables, he stood for something much deeper. When cancel culture closed in, he never pleaded his innocence. He only points to the truth to find common ground. Will I stand up or back down when facing persecution? Will I lash out to defend myself or calmly stand firm in the truth?

Faith through the unexpected can be a real challenge, but as I follow Jesus' steps I learn that He can be trusted. What steps will I take when I'm clearly not in control? God often uses my darkest hours for my deepest growth.

(Acts 5:17-42) - Once again, the apostles meet opposition. After a midnight jailbreak, they're back to preaching the truth. With jealousy, fear and frustration in their hearts, the Pharisees plan how to silence them, but realize they could be opposing God. What struggle can I share with others as I faithfully take my next step?

(Acts 5:1-16) - What I give isn't as important as where my heart is when I give it. God wants my whole heart. It's crucial that I'm aware of Satan's schemes. He will try to slither into my heart. What strategy is he using on me now? How will I respond to his attacks?

(Acts 4) - Opposition often meets those who speak the truth. Why I'm opposed will point to the step I need to take. Peter and John are locked up for speaking up, but they respond with more faithfulness and pointing to the power of God. The church prays, shares and grows! How will I respond?
