The episode unpacks gender-affirming care as medical, social, and legal support, grounded in informed consent, harm reduction, and meeting people where they’re at.
Through conversations with clinicians, researchers, navigators, and people with lived experience, we discuss social transition (including binding, tucking, packing, and padding), hormone therapy, safety, and the realities of navigating provincial healthcare systems.
