A proposito di questo titolo

Who wrote Galatians? What is the Book of Galatians about? The Apostle Paul's letter to the Galatians is a fierce defense of justification by faith alone. When false teachers infiltrated the early church, attempting to add human works to divine grace, Paul delivered a blistering warning: any alteration to the gospel destroys the gospel. In this verse-by-verse study, we examine the dangers of legalism, the necessity of the cross, and the true freedom found only in Christ. This exposition provides rigorous, biblical depth while remaining accessible for daily Christian living. Speaker: Dr. Toby Holt Dr. Toby Holt is the President of New Geneva Theological Seminary. When people don't like the message, what do they do?

    They attack the messenger.

When our predecessors didn't like the Biblical message, they critiqued and rebuked those that had brought it.

This included prophets, apostles, even Christ himself - all died because of what they had to say.

In today's text, Paul is going to address this problem in Galatia.

    Questions That We'll Answer:

    A) What was Paul's greatest frustration about the Galatians?

    B) Why did the Galatians turn so quickly to "another gospel?"

    C) Why was their behavior both stupid and dangerous?

    Why would God save Gentiles?

Why would God save those outside His covenant community?

As you may recall, Gentile nations (like Rome) had oppressed the Israelites for centuries. There was bad blood there. And yet, in God's time, these same Gentiles were to be engrafted into His holy family.

    This was AMAZING GRACE!

    But it wouldn't come easy.

Click to listen to Week 3 of our series in Galatians.

    Questions That We'll Answer:

    A) Did God's plan of salvation always include the Gentiles?

    B) Who were the 'Judaizers?' Why did they antagonize Paul?

    C) Why did Paul say that (in Christ) there is neither Jew or Greek?
