On this episode of the GEB podcast, Dave Groves sits down with Cody Bobay. His new movie Brotherhood comes to theaters this Fall. Bobay shares his journey from Navy veteran to Hollywood action star, emphasizing the importance of masculinity, faith, and authentic friendship. Discover how his faith influences his career choices and his upcoming projects that aim to inspire and challenge viewers.

Cody Bobay is an actor, filmmaker, author, husband, and father whose work sits at the intersection of raw action and deep conviction. A U.S. Navy veteran, Cody brings an authenticity to the screen that can't be manufactured — forged through real service and a relentless commitment to his craft.

Cody has set his sights on becoming one of Hollywood's next great action heroes. To get there, he has trained with some of the industry's top stunt performers and received specialized weapons training from Navy SEALs and SWAT members — the kind of preparation that translates into action sequences that feel genuinely dangerous and alive.

Beyond the screen, Cody is the founder of Soulcon, a global movement calling men to biblical strength and purpose. His filmmaking and his mission are inseparable — cinematic, faith-driven content designed to challenge men to rise, lead, and live fully surrendered to God. Cody also just released his 9th book MEMOIRS OF THE MIGHTY MEN: A 68-Day Cinematic Devotional Told By the Bible's Mighty Men

His star is rising fast. Cody recently starred in the lead role of Savage — releasing in 2026 — where he plays Frank Savage, a former special forces soldier. He also has a supporting role in Brotherhood: The Cinematic Musical, arriving this fall. Cody lives in Texas with his wife and children.

About Brotherhood: Jon is a lifelong U.S. citizen. Fabián is a Mexican immigrant a decade into waiting on an asylum application. They live next door to each other. As their two families navigate 2026 America, both men awaken to a deeper sense of what it means to be American — and what it actually costs to love your neighbor. A music-driven film with seventeen original songs.
