The fashion industry today is a large source of the world's pollution. It is responsible for one tenth of the world's released greenhouse gas emissions along with countless other negative impacts on the environment such as plastic pollution and excessive fresh-water usage.
The industry is being pushed to create circular business models and small steps have already been made towards a transition – yet challenges remain for this giant of a sector. This podcast will discuss how legislation, a change in consumer behavior and business model innovation as well as emerging technologies all have a role to play in the equation of transforming the industry.
