  • Age of Ultron vs. Real Life: AI, Missile Defense & the Future of Global Security
    Oct 28 2026

What would you like to add to the Cadoomed Codex?

Could the technology behind Avengers: Age of Ultron become reality?

Tony Stark wanted to create a suit of armor around the world. His goal was to protect humanity from threats it couldn't face alone. Instead, he helped create Ultron.

But how much of Stark's vision already exists?

In this episode of From the Tomb, Cadoom compares the fictional technology of Age of Ultron with real-world developments in artificial intelligence, missile defense, automated security, and planetary defense.

From Iron Legion and Iron Dome to AI decision-making and human oversight, we explore the possibilities, limitations, and unintended consequences of increasingly powerful technology.

And in our final WHAT IF, we imagine a future where humanity builds an AI-controlled global defense network.

What happens when the intelligence responsible for protecting humanity decides that humanity itself is the greatest threat to its own safety?

  • AI, AR & VR Explained: How Artificial Intelligence and Immersive Technology Are Changing Our World
    Oct 21 2026

What would you like to add to the Cadoomed Codex?

Artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and virtual reality are transforming how we work, learn, communicate, and experience the world. But what do these technologies actually do, and where might they take us next?

In this From the Tomb Static File, Cadoom explores the science, capabilities, and real-world applications behind AI, AR, and VR.

From machine learning, neural networks, and generative AI to augmented reality navigation, virtual reality training, and AI-powered smart glasses, we break down the technology that's already becoming part of everyday life.

We'll also explore how these technologies intersect, including digital twins, AI-driven virtual characters, and immersive environments that adapt to their users.

But technology doesn't exist in a vacuum.

What happens when we increasingly depend on AI for information and decisions? How could augmented reality change what we see? Can virtual reality create meaningful experiences and connections without a shared physical environment?

We'll examine the opportunities, limitations, and potential societal consequences while distinguishing today's capabilities from developing technology and science-fiction speculation.

This episode establishes the technological foundation for our upcoming From the Tomb movie-versus-reality series, beginning with Avengers: Age of Ultron vs. IRL.

Topics: Artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, AI agents, augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, smart glasses, digital twins, immersive technology, and technology's influence on society.

  • Jurassic World Trilogy vs. IRL: What If Dinosaurs Became Normal?
    Oct 8 2026

What would you like to add to the Cadoomed Codex?

What happens when dinosaurs stop being extraordinary and become just another part of everyday life?

In this episode of From the Tomb, Cadoom takes on the entire Jurassic World trilogy — Jurassic World, Fallen Kingdom, and Dominion — to explore the science, ethics, economics, and societal consequences of bringing dinosaurs into the modern world.

Could genetic engineering create creatures like the Indominus rex? Could dinosaurs be trained or domesticated? Would humanity have an obligation to protect the species it resurrected? And what happens when living dinosaurs become commodities, wildlife concerns, and permanent residents of modern civilization?

We're moving beyond the usual dinosaur apocalypse scenario to ask a different question:

What if humanity simply had to adapt?

From genetic engineering and de-extinction to wildlife management, illegal trafficking, agriculture, and everyday life, we're separating established science from speculation and exploring the possibilities.

Part of From the Tomb: Phase 2 — Wake Up Society, where curiosity leads the conversation and the rabbit holes only get deeper.

  • Jurassic Park vs. IRL: What If We Actually Created Dinosaurs? Wake Up Society
    Sep 30 2026

What would you like to add to the Cadoomed Codex?

What if Jurassic Park actually existed?

When Jurassic Park arrived in 1993, much of the genetic technology we take for granted today either didn't exist or was still in its infancy. More than three decades later, we can edit genomes, clone mammals, recover ancient genetic information and engineer traits in living organisms.

We still can't resurrect a non-avian dinosaur—but that raises a much more interesting question:

What if Jurassic Park got the method wrong, but wasn't completely crazy about the destination?

In this episode of From the Tomb, Cadoom uses all three films in the original Jurassic Park trilogy—Jurassic Park, The Lost World and Jurassic Park III—as the starting point for a much bigger rabbit hole.

Could we engineer something we'd call a dinosaur without authentic dinosaur DNA? When does an engineered proxy become the “real” thing? Is DNA enough to recreate an animal? Can humanity truly control a living organism after creating it? What happens after those animals reproduce without us?

    And eventually:

When does something artificial become natural?

Who owns a species humanity created?

The deeper we go, the question stops being whether we can build Jurassic Park.

It becomes what happens after we succeed.

    Explore. Reflect. Connect.
    Escape Your Tomb.

And next time, we keep going:

    Jurassic World vs. IRL.

What happens when recreating what nature made isn't enough—and humanity decides to start designing something new?

  • Real-Life Genetic Modification: How Close Are We to De-Extinction? | Static File
    Sep 16 2026

What would you like to add to the Cadoomed Codex?

Genetic modification isn't science fiction anymore.

We can edit DNA. We can genetically modify animals. CRISPR is already being used in human medicine. Scientists can recover genetic information from organisms that lived more than a million years ago—and researchers are actively exploring whether traits associated with extinct species can be engineered into their closest living relatives.

But how far can we actually go?

In this Static File from From the Tomb, we're separating real-life genetic engineering from science fiction. We break down the differences between selective breeding, genetic modification, genome editing and cloning; examine CRISPR, human genetic testing and gene editing; look at what Dolly actually proved; explore ancient DNA and the limits of genetic preservation; and enter the increasingly complicated world of de-extinction.

We'll also examine mammoth research, the controversial claim that the dire wolf has been “de-extinct,” and the difference between resurrecting an extinct species and engineering a living proxy to express some of its traits.

Because the deeper question isn't whether humans can manipulate life.

    We already can.

The question is how far that ability can actually take us.

And if this is what we can do now…how far away are we really from creating something that begins to resemble the science fiction we've imagined for decades?

Created by The Static that couldn't be contained.

  • Static File: Cadoomed Phase 2 — From the Tomb Is Changing
    Sep 2 2026

What would you like to add to the Cadoomed Codex?

Cadoomed is changing. From the Tomb is changing. But the reason behind everything we're building remains the same.

In this Static File, we break down Cadoomed Phase 2: what is changing, why From the Tomb is evolving, and what you can expect as Cadoom becomes more blunt, opinionated, skeptical, humorous, and willing to challenge the ideas put in front of him.

Phase 2 isn't about creating outrage or telling you what to think. It's about creating more reasons to think.

That means asking uncomfortable questions. Following rabbit holes. Separating evidence from opinion. Challenging ideas without attacking people. Being willing to disagree—and being willing to admit when we're wrong.

From the Tomb will become more conversational, more personality-driven, and more willing to give Cadoom's Take. Meanwhile, Static Files will preserve the original documentary-style presentation of Phase 1: transmissions created by The Static when something simply couldn't be contained.

The presentation is evolving. The world is expanding. The philosophy remains.

What would you like to add to the Cadoomed Codex?

    🎙️ STATIC FILES

    THE PRICE OF CHILDHOOD STARDOM

Why do so many former child stars tell similar stories?

In this episode of Static Files, we examine the rise of childhood stardom, the entertainment industry's pursuit of young talent, the workplace allegations that brought renewed attention to Nickelodeon through Quiet on Set, and the broader questions surrounding Disney, Hollywood, child actors, and the cost of fame.

This investigation explores documented events, publicly available information, firsthand accounts, and the cultural impact these stories have had on the entertainment industry. Rather than focusing on one individual, we ask a larger question:

    What should success never cost?

    Topics include:
    • The history of child stardom
    • Disney & Nickelodeon's influence
    • Dan Schneider and the allegations surrounding his productions
    • The Brian Peck case
    • Quiet on Set
    • Child labor protections
    • Mental health and childhood fame
    • Celebrity culture
    • Social media and modern child creators
    • The future of protecting young performers
