Maria Thattil is a trailblazer! She's an inspiring media personality, advocate, writer, speaker and creator (and there's more to add to that list).
She was first thrust into the spotlight after being crowned Miss Universe Australia in 2020 (the third woman of color to represent Australia it’s 69-year history). She’s since appeared on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here (where she came out as bisexual on live national TV) and delivered her own TED Talk.
Maria regularly provides thought-provoking social and political commentary on nation-wide media programs and columns around issues of race, gender and equality. She’s released her first book - Unbounded and was named Marie Claire’s Voice of Now in their 2023 Women of the Year!
This is an incredibly inspiring and uplifting chat, for anyone who has ever felt uncomfortable or unaccepted in their own skin.
