Four fishermen were doing what fishermen do — casting nets, mending nets, thinking about the next catch. Then Jesus walked by and said two words that changed everything: "Follow me."

In Matthew 4:18-22, Jesus calls Simon Peter, Andrew, James, and John before they understand where this is going, before they feel ready, before they've proven anything. He doesn't wait for a resume — He simply invites them into relationship with Himself. And "immediately" — no hesitation, no negotiation — they leave their nets, their boat, even their father, and follow.
