The Steelers just completely flipped the script.
After scoring only 3 points against New England last week, Pittsburgh exploded for 30 points against Cincinnati and walked away with a 30–27 win at Acrisure Stadium.
Aaron Rodgers looked like a completely different quarterback — 292 yards, 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions — while Jaylen Warren absolutely took over with 127 rushing yards and 49 receiving yards despite dealing with a shoulder injury all week.
And then there was the offensive line.
With Max Iheanachor and Brock Hoffman entering the starting lineup, Pittsburgh gave Rodgers much more time to operate, while the play-calling opened up the field with more motion and creative concepts.
Darnell Washington also became a major part of the passing game, including a huge 47-yard catch-and-run.
In this episode, I break down:
• How the Steelers went from 3 points to 30 in one week
• Aaron Rodgers' best performance as a Steeler so far
• Jaylen Warren's ridiculous 176 total-yard performance
• Why the offensive line made such a massive difference
• Darnell Washington's breakout receiving performance
• How Pittsburgh converted 7 of 12 third downs
• The final defensive sequence that sealed the win
• And what this comeback says about the Steelers after the disaster against New England
The Steelers are now 2–1, and after the way Week 2 went, this was exactly the kind of response Pittsburgh needed.
But was this just one great game — or did the Steelers actually find something on offense?
Let's talk about it.
