The GWR Football Edition 2027: https://bit.ly/GWRFootball2027 *Manchester City's 115 charges. What actually happened? Why are there SO MANY? And could one of the biggest football clubs in the world REALLY be relegated?!* You've probably heard people talking about Manchester City's 115 charges. But what do they actually mean? What is Financial Fair Play? Why does the Premier League have rules about money? What's the difference between sponsorship money and money from a club's owner? And why have Everton and Nottingham Forest previously lost points? In this special Football For Kids+ Kidsplanation, Darren makes the complicated world of football finances ridiculously easy to understand. You'll take charge of your very own imaginary football club, Rocket Boots FC, as we explain pocket money, sponsorship deals, spending limits, financial accounts, Premier League rules and the investigation into Manchester City. We'll explore the history of the 115 charges, what an independent commission found, why Manchester City are appealing, and what could happen next, including possible points deductions or relegation. *No confusing financial jargon. Just football explained in a way that makes sense to kids AND grown-ups.* *An important note:* This episode is for educational purposes. It uses publicly available information, official Premier League and Manchester City statements, published independent commission findings and reporting from established journalists. The commission published findings against Manchester City on 29 September 2026. Manchester City maintain their innocence, dispute those findings and lodged an appeal on 1 October 2026. As of 20 October 2026, the appeal remains unresolved and no punishment has been confirmed. Our Rocket Boots FC examples are entirely fictional and are used only to explain how financial rules work. *Topics covered:* Manchester City 115 charges explained, Manchester City financial charges, Premier League, Financial Fair Play (FFP), Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR), football finance, sponsorship deals, financial regulations, Premier League investigation, Manchester City appeal, Everton points deduction, Nottingham Forest points deduction, possible relegation and football explained for kids.
