The Indiana Fever finished the 2026 season 28-16, placing second in the Eastern Conference Division before a 94-83 playoff elimination to the Las Vegas Aces. We analyze where Indiana ranks among the league's elite after A'ja Wilson's 36-point performance. Key topics include retaining Kelsey Mitchell, acquiring a backup point guard for Caitlin Clark, and addressing frontcourt depth losses.

This episode covers the Fever's roster strengths, including Myisha Hines-Allen's rebounding, and weaknesses exposed by injuries to Dana Evans, NaLyssa Smith, and Tyasha Harris. We discuss GM Amber Cox's comments on the fanbase and the strategic need for a dedicated backup PG to reduce Clark's burden.

Predictions for the 2027 season suggest a jump to 30 wins if the Fever secure Mitchell and add backcourt support. We evaluate the impact of home-court advantage and the gap between Indiana and top-seeded teams like Atlanta and Las Vegas.
