FedNow is a new payment system backed by the Federal Reserve. FedNow will allow banks and credit unions to provide instant payments. allowing you to send or receive money any time and any day. Gone are the days of waiting days for a transaction to clear or get money from your bank. FedNow allows moving money to happen instantly. There are some risks involved though. FedNow could cause an increase in fraud and an increase in the chance of a bank run with withdrawals being done in an instant.
