  • 🎙️“Becoming Together: How Marriage Survives the Changes in Us”
    Mar 25 2026

This episode started with a setback… but maybe that was the point.

After thinking we had recorded 30 minutes—only to realize our equipment had other plans—we were forced to start over. And in many ways, that mirrors what marriage often requires…

    Starting over. Adjusting. Growing. Becoming.

In this episode of Feathered In Grace & Armor, Gina and Chadd dive deep into one of the most important—and often overlooked—truths about marriage:

👉 You are not the same person you were when you said “I do.”

    And neither is your spouse.

    The question is…
Are you growing together—or growing apart?

From the emotional and physical seasons a woman walks through, to the shifting roles, expectations, and needs within a marriage—this conversation is raw, real, and necessary.

Gina opens up about this stage of her life and the need for more gentleness, understanding, and emotional connection, while also sharing a powerful story about her grandfather—someone who showed her what it looks like to evolve in love over time.

Chadd and Gina also confront a hard truth many couples face:
👉 Do we sometimes try to “fix” or even parent our spouse… instead of loving them as a partner?

    Because marriage isn’t about control.
    It’s about connection.

This episode is a reminder that love isn’t static—it’s seasonal, stretching, and sacred.

❤️ It requires grace in one season…
    🛡️ Strength in another…
🙏 And faith through all of it.

If you’ve ever felt like your marriage is changing… this conversation will meet you right where you are.

Episode: 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting – Walking the Journey With Us

What happens when you intentionally slow down and invite God into your daily life for 21 days?

In this episode, Chadd and Gina share the personal commitments they’re making during their 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, and why this journey matters to them right now.

Gina opens up about why she’s fasting television and how removing that nightly distraction is helping her create more space for reflection, quiet time, and deeper connection with God.

Chadd gets real about something many people can relate to — fasting from cussing. He shares why he wants to clean up his vocabulary and how words have more power than we sometimes realize.

Together, they break down three simple steps anyone can use to pray, even if you’ve never felt comfortable praying before:

Gratitude – Thank God for something in your life
Guidance – Ask for wisdom for your day
People – Pray for someone else who may need it

The goal of this episode isn’t perfection — it’s progress, intention, and walking the journey together.

Chadd and Gina also challenge listeners to join them for the 21 days, connect with them on social media, and share what they might be fasting or praying for.

The episode closes with Chadd leading a heartfelt prayer for listeners beginning this journey.

Whether you’re new to prayer, curious about fasting, or simply looking for a reset in life, marriage, or mindset… this episode is an invitation to walk alongside us.

  • 🎙️ NEW EPISODE – Stop Criticizing & Judging Our Kids
    Mar 6 2026

On our latest episode of Feathered In Grace & Armor, Gina and I dive into a realization that many parents eventually face…

It might be time to stop criticizing, judging, and inserting our opinions into our kids’ lives.

When our children become adults, something has to change in us as parents. What we often think is “helpful advice” can actually come across as criticism, and before we know it, that criticism begins to close the door on communication.

The truth is… letting go is hard.

As parents, we simply don’t want them to make the same mistakes we made. We want to protect them. Guide them. Help them avoid pain. But sometimes our good intentions send the wrong message.

In this episode we talk about how our role as parents eventually needs to shift:

    👉 From Director… to Advisor.
And even then… only when they ask.

One verse that really hit home for me is James 1:19:

"Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry."

Maybe that wisdom applies not just to strangers… but to our own kids too.

We also talk about something bigger—how easy it is to become critical and judgmental of the people around us. Instead of trying to fix everyone else, maybe the better path is to get our own house right with God and strive to live more godly ourselves.

Chadd even shares a moment where a non-believer said something that stuck with him:

"If people would just read the Bible more and actually live by it, this world would be a better place."

    Hard to argue with that.

If you're a parent of young adults, or someone who has struggled with knowing when to speak and when to listen, this episode may really resonate with you.

  • Feathered In Grace & Armor Episode "Is Love is an ACTION!"
    Feb 23 2026

In this powerful and thought-provoking episode of Feathered in Grace & Armor, Chadd & Gina tackle a question every couple eventually faces: Is love enough?

Is it enough to simply say “I love you”… or is love something that must be lived out through action every single day?

Together, they challenge listeners to take an honest look at their own relationships and ask: How am I making love visible? How am I making love felt? Especially within the complexity of a blended family, where love isn’t always automatic, they explore what it means to choose love intentionally—for your spouse, your children, and even the relationships that require extra grace.

Grounded in Scripture, Gina reflects on biblical truths that remind us love is more than words—it’s patience, sacrifice, forgiveness, and commitment in motion.

This episode is an invitation to move beyond saying love… and start demonstrating it.

Because in the end, love isn’t just something you feel.
    Love is something you do.
