Santo Root, a current Focus on Fathers participant and father of five children, joined our community when he was seeking support for his custody situation. He shares his story on how he overcame obstacles to stay involved in his children’s lives and how his time with us has helped him grow in patience and vulnerability.

Focus on Fathers is a Philadelphia-based program that helps fathers, stepfathers and other male caregivers ages 18 years and older develop and maintain healthy relationships with their children. We provide free parenting and co-parenting education classes, case management, job-seeking support and referrals to community resources.
