Faith & Fiction: Learning to balance the two
    Oct 28 2024
In this episode of the Faith & Fiction podcast, host C.D. Ross examines the unpredictable aspects of life and the refuge that the act of writing provides. He speaks about the sense of control and predictability that comes from creating a narrative, likening it to being a puppeteer of destiny. The theme dives further into the spiritual aspects, where Ross relates developing fictional characters to God's relationship with humans, and how this perspective has deepened his spiritual understanding. He emphasizes how every person, despite their flaws, is a unique, valued part of God's plan, much like a lead character in a narrative. Ross concludes the session, encouraging listeners to continue exploring the intertwined narratives of life, fiction, and faith.
