Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets crumble under pressure as Alberto Mendoza endures the toughest game of his career against the Pitt Panthers. Offensive miscues, including multiple fumbles and a sputtering run game, raise questions about the play-calling and the support Mendoza received from the coaching staff. Is a change at quarterback on the horizon as Grady Adamson outpaces expectations on the ground?

The conversation focused on Georgia Tech’s porous defensive line, as Pitt exploited edge weaknesses for video game rushing numbers. Damon Ferguson gashed the Jackets for 185 yards and two touchdowns, exposing recurring schematic issues and lackluster discipline among defensive ends. Several points were raised, including concerns about defensive coaching, player development regressions, and whether Head Coach Brent Key will overhaul his staff after another disappointing performance. Are bad investments in the portal and coaching hires setting back the program’s progress? The Yellow Jackets face tough questions as the season winds down.
