The attendance was higher than 2022 debunking any thoughts of a declining interest in F1 in America. After a month layoff, the F1 teams took to the track of Baku for the 2023 F1 Azerbaijan GP. This marked the first sprint race weekend of the year and big changes were introduced the week leading up to the race weekend.
