Sometimes, the smallest unanswered question can lead somewhere you never expected. For Cynthia Stack, it started with concerns about her father’s money. But as she began digging for answers, she found herself getting closer to something far more disturbing. Then Cynthia and her son, Sean Stack, were killed. What happened between those two events would raise questions about trust, money, deception, and the people closest to the situation. As investigators began piecing together the timeline, conflicting stories and unexpected connections started to emerge. In this episode, we follow the trail from the first unanswered questions to the investigation that followed—and examine how a seemingly ordinary financial mystery became connected to the deaths of Cynthia and Sean Stack.
