  • Your Partner's Scrolling Is Not Harmless
    Mar 30 2026

He tells you you’re being "insecure." He says he’s just "looking." But the algorithm doesn’t make mistakes, it is actively training him to find you boring.

In the old days, if your partner stared at someone for far too long in a coffee shop, you’d call it out.

So why do we let them do it for two hours a night under the covers?

In this episode of Every Shade, Nina stops the cap on digital infidelity. We’re breaking down:

    - how the AI is programmed to tempt,

    - how "liking" became the new "eyeing,"

    - and why it might be time to have an uncomfortable conversation.

Is the algorithm designed to tempt you? Or are we just paranoid?

  • We've Outsourced Love to AI
    Mar 14 2026

Are you dating a human or a chatbot? You’re using a Large Language Model to flirt, to connect, to tell your spouse you love them, then wondering why the spark is dead. You haven’t just outsourced the ‘work’ of your relationship; you’ve outsourced the soul.

In this episode of Every Shade, Nina rants about the rise of the Relational Outsourcing. We are benchmarking our real-life connections against ‘AI Values’ and Instagram power couples, trading spontaneous empathy for predictive models that prioritize engagement over actual intimacy.

    In this episode, we discuss:

    * Why outsourcing your “I’m sorry” texts to ChatGPT is the beginning of the end.

    * The “Instagram Power Couple” trap: How we perform intimacy for an algorithm.

    * Why we are losing the capacity for spontaneous empathy.

    * How to reclaim your relationship from your phone.

It’s a rant. I am not a licensed therapist. Enjoy with discretion.

Until next time, it’s Every Shade.

  • 40 & Childfree...35 & Undecided....
    Mar 3 2026

    Want kids?

'You'll regret losing your freedom. Your career will never recover. Your body will never be the same. Say goodbye to sleep, spontaneity, disposable income, and any semblance of the person you used to be.'

    Don't want kids?

'You'll regret it when you're older. Who's going to take care of you? What's the point of your life if you don't leave a legacy? You'll die alone and childless and full of regret for what could have been.'

    Undecided?

    'What is wrong with you?'

Your reproductive choices are everybody’s business.

In this episode Nina talks about not just the biology but the judgement that women are laden with and the pressure that removes the peace.

If you are 23, 46, 65 ….on the fence, regretful parent, regretful and childless, its time to stop letting society guilt you.

  • Getting Closure is A SCAM...
    Feb 19 2026

What if everything you've been told about healing from loss is a lie? We're all searching for 'closure,' that definitive end to our pain, but what if that very search is keeping us trapped?

Chasing answers might be the biggest obstacle to true peace. We're holding onto ghosts (waiting for closure) while failing to nurture the living. We're stuck in the past (chasing answers) while the present atrophies.

What if we've been doing this whole thing wrong?

Remember that ache, that burning need to understand 'why' that person left you, why they broke your heart, why they didn't want to take things to the next level? You're not alone.

We've been conditioned to believe that finding a perfect answer will finally set us free. If only you knew why...But what if that lifelong quest for 'closure' is actually an endless loop, preventing us from ever truly moving forward?

Because even if they told you why:

"I fell out of love" - doesn't make it hurt less

"I met someone else" - doesn't explain why you weren't enough

"I wasn't ready" - doesn't give you back the time you invested

"It's not you, it's me" - is both true and completely unsatisfying

The closure you're chasing is just another way to avoid sitting with the discomfort of unanswered questions. Of ambiguity. Of loss that doesn't have a neat explanation.

Prepare to rethink everything you thought you knew about healing.

  • Season 3, Episode 3: Why Women Keep Apologising...
    Jan 5 2026

Welcome back to the one place where we promise not to apologize... for anything.

This episode, Nina explores why women feel the need to say “sorry” for everything from existing in a shared space to having an opinion, and how we can, you know, maybe stop?

Or not, sorry if that offends you.

    We’re taking back our “sorrys”!

This episode is a judgment-free zone where we dissect the art of the unnecessary apology. From saying “sorry” for taking up space to apologizing for being cold (or hot), we’re done feeling bad about trivial things.

We’re on a mission to use the words ‘thank you’ more often instead, or at least just stop saying anything at all. Sorry if that sounds a little abrupt.

(We’re not sorry about the title.)
