We are a couple weeks into the 2025 Salmon season and things are heating up! But because of the drought conditions NYS DEC has closed the Lower Fly Zone to anglers until November 1st. Captain Jay Peck joins the show to talk about this temporary ordinance and why it is needed. Plus, Jay talks about some of his tried and true techniques that he uses with his clients, whether it is on the Salmon River or some of the western NY tribs. Jay also talks about his yearly Spey program and how it is a weekend of instruction for those that want to get into spey fishing or even for the experienced spey angler looking for a few fine points and a tune up on their skills.
