This week, Elle survives all 33 episodes of Cdrama “Overdo” 这一秒过火, we try to figure out why a perfectly decent drama like “Royal Betrothal” 御廷谣 can somehow be less watchable than a train wreck, and “The Shadow Sovereign” 昭阳公主 reminds us that sometimes all we really want is attractive people, a straightforward story, and a romance we can actually enjoy.
(00:32) Introduction
(02:20) Overdo Wrap-up (episodes 6-33): It Only Got Crazier
(15:45) Royal Betrothal (episodes 1-10): Better…But We Dropped It
(27:17) The Shadow Sovereign (episodes 1–18 end): A Much-Needed Palate Cleanser
