Back in the before times, aka 2014, one of our favorite recurring guests got it in his head that ATTT needed to be paying attention to all the great new music being made by making an annual 'songs of the year' episode happen. Daskal also said that we needed to include the delightful Shannon Hurley and in the process the three of us will get to at least attempt to keep up with what's going on in music. 11 years later we're mighty glad we took that advice and now it has become the episode event of the year for us.
