Tonight’s Sunday Vibes is a sample-on-sample journey — and depending on how this one lands, I might make this a regular thing.

A lot of R&B and hip-hop classics are built from samples pulled from the ’70s and ’80s (and sometimes even the ’60s), so I thought it would be fun to play the original track first, then blend into the modern flip that brought it back to life.

I’ll be real — this is a high-difficulty mix. Older records with live drums and instrumentation take a little more finesse to work with. A few moments might get away from me (you’ll hear it), but that’s part of the charm. This is about the human touch, not something polished by AI.

Sunday Vibes is always about the journey — that space where the weekend winds down and Monday waits just around the corner.
