A proposito di questo titolo
Today’s episode is taking a closer look at the developmental stages of children in the arts. The information shared today is from your e-text, Creating Meaning through Literature, and the Arts: Arts Integration for Classroom Teachers, by Claudia Cornett. We are specifically exploring Appendix A, on page 560. There you can read the complete Developmental Stages: Characteristics and Suggestions resource. This episode will feature a look at the characteristics and suggestions for working with children and the arts for primary grades. It will also touch on potential problems. This will enable you to be prepared to support the students, scaffold their learning and skills, and help them navigate their exploration of the arts and other content areas through the use of the arts. This segment will focus on primary students, ages 5-7. This is approximately kindergarten through second grade.
