Our newest episode of The Sixth Sun is here, and with it, we are officially moving toward the next stage of this project: bringing this story into animation.

The Sixth Sun began as an audio drama about hope, grief, survival, mythology, and what it means to keep going when the world feels like it is ending. All alongside a trickster god seeking to help humanity at their most dire time. Now, with the help of our community, we are launching a Kickstarter to fund a fully 2D animated trailer made with a Mexican animation studio. This campaign is not funding a full film yet. It is funding the trailer that can show the world what The Sixth Sun could become: an indie animated film rooted in Mexica mythology, modern Mexico City, queer characters, disabled-led storytelling, and absolutely no AI.
