Dwight D. Eisenhower was born on October 14, 1890 in Dennison, TX, and was the 34th President of the United States. "Ike" was a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and rose to the rank of 5-Star General. He was Supreme Allied Commander during WW II, and orchestrated Operation Overlord (D-Day). His favorite pastime was playing golf, and he had a long history with Augusta National golf course, home of the Masters.
