Nobody warns you that the most natural thing in the world can be the hardest part of your day. You're sitting there at 3am with a screaming baby, a pump giving you almost nothing, and a very loud voice telling you you're failing at something mothers have done forever.
If that's you right now, this one's for you, mumma.
This episode is an honest conversation about feeding babies: breastfeeding, formula, pumping, and the messy business of starting solids. Dimity's first baby arrived early and tiny, and the pressure to get her weight up pushed her to formula alongside an enormous amount of guilt. Susan pumped for six weeks for almost nothing, and poured the last of it down the sink on the day she knew she was done. That baby is now a healthy, clever 13-year-old.
We cover the things that actually help: why the amount on the tin isn't gospel, the puree trick that finally got a fussy baby eating, what's really inside those "spinach" pouches, the choking and allergen fear nobody talks about, and why the second time around is genuinely easier.
No judgment, no lectures. Just two mums who found it hard too.
