In this episode, our travelers step out of the wilds and into the widening arms of destiny. After sharing a quiet night at Captain Heimdal’s camp—stories flickering with the firelight, shadows revealing more about forbidden magic than anyone expected—the party rises with a clearer understanding of the dangers that follow them… and the bonds that now protect them.

Heimdal leads them onward to a relic older than any map: a Way Stone, two monumental stones intertwined with the roots of an ancient tree. Its runes shimmer, humming with dormant power, and in a single breath of bending light the world shifts beneath their feet.

They arrive in Riverwood, a riverside village equal parts weary and wondrous. Its crooked docks and lantern-lit bridges whisper of quiet magic beneath the surface. Curious shops line its winding paths—including the ever-mysterious Ratman and his cheese shop, a local marvel spoken of with equal parts awe and humor.

But Riverwood holds something far more important than oddities:
a humble church with a grand name—The Resistance of Fate—and within it, Father Tailius, the man Heimdal urged them to meet. A priest whispered to possess insight into the unseen currents of magic, destiny, and purpose. A man whose guidance may be the key to reaching the place the party seeks most:

Mistveil Sanctum—the legendary academy hidden deep within the veils of ancient magic.
