In this episode of Red Lodge – the Podcast, we sit down with Margot Kuntz—a Red Lodge High School graduate and current Presidential Scholar at Montana State University in Bozeman. Margot tells the story of working as a guide for Elk River Outfitters in the summers during high school. Margot spent her days leading horseback rides through meadows, across rivers, and up into the mountains above this scenic town.
On paper, it was a trail guide job. In reality, it became her passport. Margot says she “traveled the world on the back of a horse and never left her hometown.
