Our guest on the podcast this week is a COVID survivor. Alan McGlaughlin is a dentist and practice owner based in Yorkshire. He was admitted to hospital at the end of March and then spent 6 weeks in intensive care. He spent 2 of these weeks intubated on a ventilator and sedated to allow his body a chance to fight the virus. In this fascinating discussion we look back over Alan’s upbringing in Northern Ireland during ‘The Troubles’, to his move over to England, settling down with his wife Janet in Yorkshire, through to his fight to survive COVID in March and April this year.
