Join us this week as we walk through a Sweet 'N Spicy Chicks highlight review of the controversial film adaptation of Where the Crawdads Sing!
The story is set in the 1960s Marshlands of North Carolina and introduces us to Kya, an abandoned girl who raised herself to adulthood isolated from her community for being "white trash." Kya ultimately falls in love with two young men from her town, but when one of them is found murdered, she is immediately cast as the main suspect. As the case unfolds, the verdict as to what actually happened becomes increasingly unclear, threatening to reveal the secrets that lay within the marsh!
This story is insane we had so much fun talking through the good, the bad, and funny!
