In this episode, I’m joined again by Matt Thompson, a historian and dedicated folklore researcher based in the picturesque fishing village of Newlyn, Cornwall. Listen to episode 78 where Matt shares some of the rich folklore of Newlyn, Mousehole and Paul.
This time, we’ll be exploring some of the stories of mermaids, sea monsters and ghosts from the area.
We recorded this episode in two separate sessions due to technical difficulties, which seemed to occur when Matt was discussing a mermaid sighting!
