We’re looking at what happens when the pursuit of health starts working against us. From extreme training and the viral Hyrox incident to chasing performance and aesthetics, we question why pushing harder is so often treated as proof that we’re getting healthier.
Then we get into what we call “depression by depletion.” Are we under-eating, overtraining, sleeping poorly, piling on supplements, medications, workouts, and restrictions when what our bodies actually need might be less? Sometimes the answer isn’t another thing to add. It might be eating enough, recovering better, reducing training volume, and paying attention to what our bodies are telling us.
And finally, we tackle one of the biggest objections we hear: meal prep is too hard. We talk about keeping food simple, building repeatable meals, planning ahead, and why taking ownership of what we eat doesn’t require complicated recipes or spending an entire Sunday in the kitchen. Health can be complicated. The solutions don’t always have to be.
