A proposito di questo titolo

It started on September 1, 1944, in the quiet town ofMattoon, Illinois. Aline Kearney was home with her three-year-old daughter while her husband was away in the Navy. Her sister Martha was staying with them.

That night, Aline smelled a strange, sweet odor. Suddenly, her legs went numb, and her throat felt tight and dry. Martha didn’t smell anything, but she called her husband, Burt, for help. When Burt arrived, he spotted a tall man in dark clothes and a tight cap standing outside a bedroom window. He tried to catch him, but the man vanished into the night.

Aline recovered within 30 minutes.
But this was only the beginning.
