    Topic: THE BELIEVER'S NATURE!

    Bible Text: ‭Genesis 1:28 KJV

    28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

    INSPIRATION: The nature of anything determines its operational capabilities, especially, when left in its natural habitat. For instance, the nature of a bird is to fly, while a fish is to swim. Anything that takes a fish outside water, limits its potential to swim! The believer has a nature that sets them apart from all of creation. It is the nature of dominion, which establishes his mandate on earth.

    There're several pillars as it were, on which the believer's mandate is established. The first is to "BE!" The command to be, is suggestive of the fact that one can derail from his original nature. God commands you to be the very essence for which you were created. Don't leave your originality in vain pursuit of what you're not. Be the original, authentic you that leaves no one in doubt that God created you a unique masterpiece. Your authenticity activates and aggregates all of God's intent for you and makes them function to full capacity.

    Then He says, "Be fruitful...!" Fruitlessness displeases God. Jesus, in his displeasure, cursed the fruitless fig tree because it displayed characteristics that were strange and contrary to its nature. Your natural disposition should be fruitfulness in all its ramifications: mind, body and spirit. It is unacceptable to be productive in certain areas and not in others. You should be an all-rounder in fruitfulness that everything about you displays the glory of a fruitful life!

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    Being authentic and fruitful delights God, and points us to the true characteristics of a believer.

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for the uniqueness of my nature and making me realise my worth is determined by how authentic I become in actualising Your purposes for creating me. As I become more of whom You created me as, the grace to be all the more fruitful is activated and functions to its fullest in me. I bear all manner of good, useful fruits, and my fruitfulness delights You, in Jesus name, Amen 🙏 🙌.

    Topic: REASONS VERSUS NO REASON (Part 2)!

    Bible Text: ‭1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV

    18. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

    INSPIRATION: Those who look for a reason to praise God always wait for the spectacular to happen before they can show gratitude. But God is not a dramatis persona. He can't be boxed into any particular way. To look for a reason to praise God is to merely look for ways to justify your ingratitude. Our text says, "In every thing give thanks," suggesting that gratitude should be our nature. Whether in good or bad times, you're encouraged and instructed to praise God!

    I don't have to seek a reason to praise God; I'd praise him anyhow and in any place. I'd offer him my reasonable act of worship, knowing that I'm a living sacrifice (Rom. 12: 1). And if peradventure I need a reason to praise God, it'd definitely be about Jesus and His finished work on the cross that purchased my salvation. It definitely won't be about my possession of material goods or healing, deliverance or promotion. Are these not deserving of our worship to God? They sure do, but what becomes of us when these fail to happen to us?!

    I came to challenge you not to fall to the lie that God is unworthy and undeserving of your praise. Don't yield to the devil's tricks that suggests to you to trade your praise in exchange of what God has freely blessed you with, which is yet to come into your hands. Live the life of a praise giver as your natural habitat. Remember it is God's will for you to praise Him, and this will doesn't have an attached condition of seeking a reason that justifies whether or not to praise him!

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    God doesn't probate His love or blessings, neither should I probate or make my praise conditional.

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, my heart is fixed on offering You unconditional worship. I will not probate or hold back my praise in search of a reason because reasons abound. Rather, I'd make praise melody devoid of conditions unto You my habit. I receive grace to live in this consciousness daily, to Your own glory, in Jesus name, Amen 🙏 🙌.

    Topic: PRAYER FOR THE SUPPLY OF DAILY BREAD!

    Bible Text: ‭Matthew 6:11 KJV

    11. Give us this day our daily bread.

    INSPIRATION: Whenever we pray, it is very important we have the knowledge and acknowledgement that you're not sufficient in yourself should drive everyone to pray to God for His supply of their daily bread. This prayer goes beyond your lack or abundance, to establishing your humble dependence on God. Irrespective of what great possession of material goods one has, there would still be areas where only God's supply can mitigate and bridge the gap.

    Dependence on God is not foolishness as some would opine. Such opinions actually makes fools of those who hold them. To pray is to enlist supernatural intervention in your earthly realm; it invites God into the spaces and events of our daily lives, and granting Him permission to work miracles. I'd to God you'd humble yourself to ask for daily supply of what you need to get by each day; ask God to sort you out and fix everything that could frustrate you, cause you discomfort and bring you to public disgrace.

    Ask God to protect you against the vicious attacks of the enemy; ask him to put food on your table, make a way where you can't find one. Ask him to honour and favour you and make you a generally acceptable and likeable person. You can ask Him to cover or eliminate your flaws where it matters most so they do not speak against you. Pray for the Holy Spirit to help and guide you. There're certain things you can't do by yourself except by the hand of God. Desire God's hands to rest upon you. That's how to pray for your daily bread.

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    Jesus teaches us to trust and ask God for everything. Dependence on God eases off the burdens we bear.

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, please deliver me from the arrogance that neglects prayer; make me see reasons that drive me back to my prayer closet, where the fire on my altar is actively burning. May I see the need to always ask for your supply of my daily bread, in Jesus name, Amen 🙏 🙌.

    Topic: THE NEED FOR THE SUPPLY OF DAILY BREAD!

    11. Give us this day our daily bread.

    INSPIRATION: Teaching his disciples how to pray, Jesus instructs them to ask for their daily bread in prayer. In praying this, we must not limit ourselves to asking for things like food or money. The wisdom to deal with the many issues life presents daily is crucial. The skill to navigate tough choices, handle difficult processes, and the strength to go through the emotions of each day, falls in here. You may have all the money and food that you want but that's no guarantee you'd have a great day.

    Life can sometimes come up with its own pressure. It'd be wrong, if not frustrating to think you've the answer to everything life throws at you. But the grace for daily living can be easily supplied when we ask God in faith for our daily bread. Don't trivialise this need if you don't want to be overwhelmed by life itself. It's only in the light of this that one would understand Solomon's assertion, "... the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; ..." (Eccl. 9:11).

    One common mistake we make is to relax from praying once things begin to shape up around us. But this is against the model Jesus taught us. He says to ask for our daily bread. Each day holds its own unique graces, blessings, favours, opportunities, peace, or troubles. Your refusal to ask daily is a pointer that your understanding of this principle is shallow. It further indicates a lack of trust in God's abundant abilities to meet your daily needs.

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    Jesus teaches us to trust and ask God for everything. Dependence on God eases off the burdens we bear.

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for being dependable and faithful. I know I can trust You to supply my daily bread and it'd be done because You're good and capable like that. May I be a beneficiary of Your daily release of blessings and graces so that I lack nothing. I declare that I will never be stranded for lack of all you freely provide daily, in Jesus name.

    Topic: SOURCE TO MEET MY DAILY NEEDS!

    Bible Text: ‭Matthew 6:11 KJV

    11. Give us this day our daily bread.

    INSPIRATION: Jesus's teaching on what is popularly called the Lord’s prayer, points us to a very salient issue: the need and source of our daily bread. One significant thing this teaching avails us is redirection of our minds away from thinking that our smartness, dint or hardwork, network connection or organisational acumen are responsible for the supply of our daily bread. Were it so, Jesus would never have taught his disciples to ask the Father for their daily bread.

    Daily bread, when put in context, refers to much more than the food we eat to stay alive. The bible says, "God daily loads us with benefits" (Ps. 68: 19). Everything that falls within the purview of the generalised term, "benefits" qualifies to be called a daily bread. Some translations refer to this daily loads of benefits as daily bearing of our burdens. Now it makes more sense because there isn't a man who's never had burdens to bear. Reason some of us crumble under the weight of our burdens is because we've never come to terms with the fact that God is loving enough to take care of our burdens, so we bear them instead of casting them on Him (1 Pet. 5: 7).

    Jesus taught his disciples the need to rely on God to carry their burdens and meet their needs. He has the capacity to supply every need (Phi. 4: 19) because He's El-Shaddai, the multi-breasted One. He has everything you need manufactured and stored up waiting for your request order. He's not going to go look for it, he has it in wait, custom-made just for you. Be it a child, a spouse, money, a job, promotion, peace, etc, just ask in faith and believe. Hallelujah.

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    Faith is the technology that transforms an intangible prayer to a tangible answer. Only believe!

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for being the supplier of my daily bread and my burden bearer. I live a worry-free life knowing that You'd graciously meet all my needs. Help me to continually trust You and not lean on the arm of flesh. Cause my faith to be boosted even in the midst of difficult situations. Be glorified because there's nothing that I need that You won't supply, in Jesus name, Amen. 🙏 🙌

    Topic: EFFECTS OF GOD'S GRACE (Part 2)!

    Bible Text: ‭Ephesians 2:8 TPT

    8. For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ!

    INSPIRATION: Grace isn't just an enabler that gets the work done with ease, it saves us the troubles and struggles of trying to fix or figure out things ourselves. Grace is the bridge between where we are and where we should be. As interesting and plausible as this is, grace doesn't ever leave us where it meets us but pulls us up where we rightfully belong. Grace is an instructor that teaches us what we need to know and do to get to where we're destined for (Titus 2: 11-12)

    Grace doesn't subtract from us; it adds to us, taking off the place of personal efforts. Does this mean one should no longer make efforts or aspire to a better life? Not at all. Grace simply amplifies our efforts and deliverers higher and better result so no man can boast in their self absorbed delusion of being self-made. Grace opens up access to us to showcase our worth and then attracts the right people who'd place real value on our services and then patronise us. Grace is an equal opportunity leveler.

    Grace qualifies us for what we originally weren't qualified for. Paul says, "But God’s amazing grace has made me who I am! And his grace to me was not fruitless. In fact, I worked harder than all the rest, yet not in my own strength but God’s, for his empowering grace is poured out upon me" (1 Cor 15:10 TPT). Grace makes and enables us to function effectively in what it makes of us. Therefore, if you're having struggles in any area, plug in to God's enabling grace and see yourself flourishing.

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    God's grace to us is at Christ's expense. It is foolishness not to recognise this fact or waste the opportunities it offers.

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, please activate the operations of Your grace in my life. Teach me all I need to know to rise to where I ought to be, add to my portfolio by Your grace. Enable me to use every opportunity to build capacity, to maximise my chances and make full proof of the grace bestowed upon me. May Your grace not be in vain in my life, in Jesus name.

    Topic: EFFECT OF GOD'S GRACE!

    Bible Text: ‭Ephesians 2:8 TPT

    8. For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ!

    INSPIRATION: Most times when we talk about grace, we limit it only to unmerited favours from God. If asked anything else we know about grace, we become lost for words. Grace brings us salvation and helps us become all God designed us for. Grace restores us to our original position of sonship and dominion with God. Grace is the answer to everything we do, have or become. Grace is the best prescription; the common denominator; the difference maker in our lives and walk with God.

    Grace is revealed or better understood by divine encounters. There's an encounter with God that shallows up excuses, strips you of self, and promotes a burning hunger to be transformed into God's image. There's an encounter in your prayer closet that brings you to your knees, that kills something in you that doesn't glorify God. There's an encounter that sets your heart on fire. Kindle that fire on your altar today, because grace is abundantly supplied for you to do all things.

    You are saved by grace, kept alive and sustained by grace, favoured by grace, etc. Nothing we do was ever done by ourselves , willpower and smartness. Knowing this should humble you to seek God's grace in all you do. The smart thing to do is to find ways to keep God's grace potently active and working for you. Avoid everything that could frustrate the operations of God's grace (Gal. 2: 21).

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    The dimensions of the moves of grace are inexhaustible and magical. Don't limit yourself!

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for the free gift of Christ that is wrapped up in your grace. I remain connected to the glories of Your grace and enjoy every provision that comes with it. I'm strengthened to do the right things by Your grace, and to live the life that points others to Your ever-saving grace. I rest in Your grace because it powers all my operations, in Jesus name, Amen 🙏 🙌
