    Topic: PAY METICULOUS ATTENTION (Part 2)!

    24. ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
    25. But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

    INSPIRATION: This year, pay attention to your personal development. The amount of energy expended in finding fault with others and engaging in unprofitable social media gossip should be rechanneled to useful self-developing skills. Take courses, reduce the effects of your weak links and enhance your efficiency. Paul warns us to examine ourselves. Carry out honest personal appraisals and self assessment tests. Pay attention to your personal brand, public aura and how you're perceived.

    Failure to pay attention where required, your good seed could give off premium pain as harvest. Many people are not doing well today because they went to sleep when vigilance was the most needed thing to do. Don't be careless with your expected harvest. Refuse to normalise or reinforce having tares compete freely with your bloom and thus stifling your harvest. Keep a 360° vigilance. Disallow tendencies that drain you. Contend for your seed but more importantly, be concerned about your harvest!

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    ‭The enemy is strategic in his plan to destroy your source. Guard your area of strength; work on strengthening your weak links; take delivery of a superior strategy. Unleash! Be purposeful; be visionary; be creative; be alive to your goals!!

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, give me the grace to be alive and conscious to happenings in my environment. Not on my watch will the enemy succeed with destroying processes to my great harvest. Every blessing You gave me is preserved from the devourer, in Jesus name.

    Topic: PAY METICULOUS ATTENTION!

    INSPIRATION: I feel a strong leading to alert us to the need to pay more attention to details this year than we've ever done. Be meticulous in your scrutiny. Do not take everything at surface level otherwise very serious unmitigated damages might occur unnoticed. Plant a good seed but watchout for saboteurs who creep in at odd time to sow tares. Do not lose your investment to chance or blind trust. Are we building a culture of mistrust with this? Never. But wisdom is profitable to direct (Eccl. 10:10).

    Guard your heart; protect your territory. Be more devoted to your businesses, career, investments and relationships. It is sad to see people give more attention to things that add no value to their lives than they do to the things that matter most to them. Give no place to the devil to do you dirty. Water your seed but get rid of tares that pose a threat to your harvest. Mount your guard with full attention. What you don't pay early attention to may never blossom into a fruitful enterprise.

    ‭‭Take Paul's counsel seriously, "Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise" (Ephesians‬ ‭5:15‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, I receive the wisdom and grace to pay proper and detailed attention to everything I do. I refuse to be wasteful with my opportunities and investments. I'll guard my territory against external invasion and internal implosion until my fruits are due for harvest, in Jesus name.

    4. ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.

    INSPIRATION: You can be anything but never be a lone ranger! Form good, healthy, and productive alliances. Rebuild and mend broken relationships. Many are dry and unproductive today because they allowed pride ruin their partnerships. Don't be deceived to think you're sufficient in yourself (2 Cor. 3: 5).

    Build a team. Synergy is the new world order. Isolated individuals short-circuit themselves and may even dry up while still alive. An isolated person isn't as much different from one that companions with fools. One thing common to both is starvation and paucity of the right information that matter to giving them an advantage.

    I challenge you to be a people-person and learn the act of winning with people this year. Collaborate more than you're willing to compete. Seek out persons, groups, institutions and corporations that deliver key values with excellence and join them. By all means, make the most of your time this early as you go into the year. Wisely invest time!

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    Circumstances may conspire to hinder you, but you must determine and device ways to thrive. It's time to act differently!

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, I receive grace to forge new and better alliances. I'm emboldened by the Holy Spirit to take very profitable and strategic initiatives in partnership to achieve greater goals this year, in Jesus name.

    4. ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.

    INSPIRATION: The year has welcomed its 20th day already. Whilst some are still smarting from the euphoria of a new year, activities have kicked off in top gear for many others. This is not that year to idle way in religious and/or traditional platitudes as against being transitional while others are cashing out big. Its time to throw yourself into the ring; its time to exert yourself and carve a wave for your own outstanding display of results.

    The arena of commerce is big enough to accept you; it's time to synergise and forge new partnerships; it's to to rebrand and/or diversify your trade; it's time to invest; to plow and cultivate your fields! Yes! It is!!The experts may have given very dreadful forecasts on the economy, the government may have drifted like a raft lost at sea, and everything appears gloomily hopeless, etc, but it is never time to despair on throw in the towel. Resigning to nothing is not in your DNA. So perish the thought!

    Let faith arise within you and propel you to sow regardless of the glaring deficiencies. Do not patronise the architects of doom to ruin your future. Sow in self-development; sow into optimising scarce opportunities. Dare to think differently and motivate yourself to actions that defy statusquo. You want a different outcome, act contrary to your reality: sow without observing the wind; aim at the harvest without letting the clouds stop you!

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    Be wise and smart with your opportunities to turn your fortunes around this year! Dream wild and be action-oriented. The harvest beckons!

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, I refuse to be laid back while opportunities slip through my hands. I receive grace to be proactive in taking the right initiatives and seizing my moment of glory. Bless my mind and hands to do exploits, in Jesus name.

    13. ‭‭‭‭‭‭Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
    14. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
    15. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

    INSPIRATION: Paul admonishes us to give attention to reading, exhortation and doctrine. Yesterday, we touched on a little about reading. Reading makes you wiser. An unwise person can't give sound advice. Passion drives and fuels pursuit. No one can be sold out and dedicated to anything they're not passionate about or that they do not understanding. Passion stirs the creative ingenuity that births excellence.

    One proof of diligence is how excellently well you do things. We already know diligence is the gateway to dining with kings and fishing in deep waters with nobility (Prov. 22: 29). A lot of us have been too negligent to the most important things in our lives for far too long. We can't afford to toll that route any longer.

    Jesus told Martha, "‭‭But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her" (Luke‬ ‭10:42‬). Paul says when you give yourself wholly to the important things of life, your profiting may appear to all. Think about this for a while. If you don't make profit out of the things you do, it most likely means you're not paying enough attention to what's vital.

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    There are no gimmicks to success. Every great achievement is birthed on the heels of discipline and dogged determination - rare traits not commonly found in pessimists! The heights you can't imagine, you can't climb!

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, please teach me the wisdom of prioritising the most important things in life and grant me the grace to pursue same with all of my heart until its profit is evident in my life, in Jesus name.

    INSPIRATION: The subject of giving has assumed a very controversial status today that almost everyone holds an opinion on it, whether rightly or wrongly. And before you put on your defenses, I'm not here to ask you to part with your valuables or cash but to challenge you to seek out a noble cause that you can devote your valuable time and resources to.

    It was in the light of this that a wise man once said he who has not found a cause to live for has not discovered something to die for. Have you found a cause to give your all to this year? Paul admonishes us to give attention to causes that would make our profiting appear to all. In other words, giving your all to a cause(s) rewards you first before it benefits others.

    Don't live an accidental life this year. Find something that challenges or motivates you to do better for yourself. Apostle Paul suggests reading firstly. Why? Readers are leaders. You can't lead successfully if you're not an avid and consumate reader. Reading opens you to new ideas, broadens your horizon and helps you have a balance.

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    Sit down and evaluate your life: what's your value proposition? What are the causes you're passionate about and what difference or changes do you want to make this year. Document them and act!

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to give my attention to things that are worthy enough to earn me good profit. May I not devote my time, energy and resources in the pursuit of vanity or vain glory, in Jesus name.

    34. ‭‭‭‭Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.
    35. And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.

    INSPIRATION: The sooner we realise that strategy is superior to reason, the better attention we'd pay to it. Most times we focus on the big wins and lose the small wars that ultimately flatten us. Whilst you're looking at mountains to surmount this year, do not lose sight of the battles in the valley. Real wars occur in the trenches.

    Whilst the nation rejoiced that David slew Goliath, they never saw the fall that could come from Beersheba. Do not only manifest in big fights. Plug the little leaks that could destroy you. When people appear before a job interview panel, they're asked, "Can we meet you?" They want to hear your strategy, what you'd do differently. Your plans to assist them is what they want to see.

    What are your personal goals and plans for this year on a more serious and broader sense? What's your strategy to arriving at the goals? Have you counted the costs and weighed your intentions? Jesus teaches us that to build, you must first sit down to count the costs (Luke 14:28-29). Counting your cost is part of your strategic plans.

    TODAY'S TAKE HOME:

    Real success thrives under a systemic and well structured plan. Except you follow the blueprints of a well structured plan, you may soon lose energy and derail your focus.

    PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me not to approach this year without a plan or blueprint. Give me the requisite wisdom to make the most of these early beginnings to think out the plans that would guide me through this year, in Jesus name.

    INSPIRATION: The year eagarly awaits your manifestation (Rom. 8: 19). Therefore unleash your mindpower! If you must make real significant progress, you must unleash fresh ideas forged on the furnace of critical thought-processing. Dynamics for real success is changing. To keep the pace, you must update yourself and refuse to function with obsolete skills and tools. Passivity will not win you the laurels that a proactive exactitude would deliver.

    The tide may not always be in you favour, that's why you should develop skills and unleash potentials that would successfully help you swim against the odds. Don't wait for conditions to be favourable to act; they may never be. Seize every moment and make the most of them. Be your own rainmaker if the rains refuse not fall; create your own rainbow if nature refuses to gift you one. Be your own sunshine.

    Beat every odd in your path by unleashing superior strategies. Take your world by storm. Hit hard like a thunderbolt. Men may disagree on your methods but they can't dispute your results. By all means and within the legal framework, unleash and get results! The world waits eagerly for what you make of your existence and opportunities. You're on the world screen and the theatre is filled with spectators who want to see you evolve. Don't fail them

    Become your greatest cheerleader this year. Be self-motivated; be a self-starter. Take your world by storm but make a mark!
