Kim Hanson is the Chief External Relations Officer at Breakthrough T1D Canada*, where she leads advocacy, patient engagement, and communications. Kim previously served as the CEO of HealthPartners, a Canadian coalition of 20 national health charities. With an MBA from the University of Ottawa, she also has extensive experience as a senior leader in health charities, overseeing advocacy, communications, and fundraising.

*At the time of this conversation, Kim Hanson was still working in her previous position as the CEO of HealthPartners.
