In every town, there are places people avoid.

Not because of what’s been seen there…

but because of what hasn’t.*

*Places where stories outlive the people who told them.

Places that feel older than the land they sit on.

Places that wait.

For Andy Barnes… this is one of those places.

Joanna Clark always believed love could be measured — a list of traits, a set of rules, a blueprint for the perfect man. Most people called it unrealistic. She called it preparation.....

For years, no one ever came close.

And when perfection finally found her… Joanna learned that nothing in this world comes without a cost.

Some people spend their whole lives waiting for a miracle. Others… spend their lives pretending they no longer want one. Tonight’s story follows a woman caught between those two truths — a woman named Mary Wilks, who asked the universe for just one thing. And the universe… answered in its own way.

Tonight, we follow a man named David Patten — a man who begins to notice something in the quiet hours of the night. Something small at first… but impossible to ignore. This is…... “The Strange Car.”

Lisa Knight…

a woman who never felt comfortable in her own skin.

A woman who never felt beautiful, no matter what anyone told her.

Friends, family, strangers — it didn’t matter.

Nothing anyone said could quiet the voice inside her telling her she wasn’t enough.

And when someone lives with that kind of ache long enough…

They start doing whatever it takes to feel — and look — beautiful....

On a long stretch of county road, a man heads home after another late shift — tired, quiet, and alone with his thoughts. Nothing unusual. Nothing out of place. Just the kind of night where the world feels empty… and the darkness seems to listen. But sometimes the road holds more than silence. Sometimes something waits just beyond the headlights — something small, something lost, something that shouldn’t be there at all.

Amanda Cook wasn’t looking for trouble. She wasn’t chasing mysteries, or signs, or anything out of the ordinary. She was just living her life the way most of us do—one simple day at a time.

But sometimes, the ordinary has a way of shifting… and showing us things we were never meant to see.

There are things buried in this world that were never meant to be found.

Objects that move from hand to hand, life to life, leaving only questions in their wake.

Some call them curses.

Some call them warnings.

Most never live long enough to call them anything at all.
