Jarlath meets Eamonn Brennan, the Director General of EUROCONTROL - the intergovernmental European organisation that manages the European Air Traffic Network. Normally Eamonn would handle over 11 million flights during each calendar year but when he meets Jarlath, the world is upside down. Together they first examine the state of aviation during the pandemic, winning the public's trust back and finally his own journey into aviation and management style. Like so many other guests in the Flying Irishman series, aviation was not his first choice occupation. Jarlath burrows into what the exact attraction of aviation is for this Irishman controlling the skies above us.
