Welcome to the Citizens Advisory Podcast presented by the Citizens Advisory of Pennsylvania. Join Executive Director Jess Stahlnecker and guest Gwen Deluca as they discuss the Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA), current legislation that would give them a monopoly on school board director training, and the fact that they are lobbying with our tax dollars.
The original intent was to interview Gwen, a former school board director in Western PA, about a common sense policy that allowed for the review and challenge of age-inappropriate library materials in school.
However, research and conversation quickly evolved as Gwen began looking into the lobbying expenses for the PSBA. This is an eye-opening conversation you won't want to miss!
