Romans 11:11-15

A star baseball player will not be cut from the team if he is injured. The manager can keep him on the bench as a pinch hitter and get a player from the Minor Leagues to fill his position. If they win the World Series, both players will be champions. God has not cast off Israel, but has set them aside for a time so that the Gentiles might receive the riches of salvation in Jesus Christ. Romans 11:7-10

If clay begins to dry, it can become so hard that a potter cannot use it anymore. But if it has not completely hardened, the potter can add moisture and work with the clay until it becomes soft and usable. The human heart is naturally hard and hostile against God, but He alone is the master potter who can work in us to soften our hearts and use us for His glory. Romans 11:5-6

There is no such thing as a married bachelor. Marriage and singlehood are mutually exclusive and the man is either married or unmarried. According to the Bible, salvation by grace and salvation by works are mutually exclusive systems. You cannot have salvation by grace + works. It must be one or the other.
