Chase Howard joins Robert and Reeves to share the story of Chase Oil Company, the growth of Scrubby’s Car Wash and the lessons he has learned through more than 30 years in business.

Chase and his brother Charles are the third generation of their family to lead Chase Oil, but the business was never simply handed to them. Chase talks about the expectations their father placed on them, the years they spent working outside the company and the long hours required to build something of their own.

The conversation follows their journey from operating convenience stores and selling fireworks to recognizing an opportunity in the car wash industry. Chase explains why narrowing their focus changed the direction of the company, how he and Charles balance one another as business partners and why some of their best decisions involved walking away from opportunities that did not fit their long-term plan.
