Every couple should be free to choose the dynamics that work best for them, and also those types of conversations make us wonder if many wives are really saying that they want to be able to trust their husband. Are we always looking for male headship, or are we longing for a reliable partner that we trust to be in it with us? What’s behind the struggle and desire for your husband to lead? Today we’ll dig into this question and look at 1 Corinthians 7 and the picture of mutuality and reliability in Christian marriages that we see in scripture.
