Through authentic conversations, personal stories, and practical wisdom, we uncover how courage is built one step at a time. Fear may be loud, but it doesn't have to have the final say.

Brendan T. Kelly classifies himself as a creative soul, whether it be storytelling, or making art in all of its lovely genres. Growing up, he split his time between Wellington, Texas and Sacramento, California; he’ll tell you that he knew I-40 better than most truckers, at a very young age. Brendan served in the U.S. Army for 22 years, with duty stations around the world, to include multiple deployments. His writings are cultivated stories from the experiences he has had at all stages of his life.

He writes with a desire to help others, to share his stories, with hopes of helping people recognize that they are not alone, can get through difficult times, and not let the challenges or moment define them. Brendan shares his battles with PTSD and mental health in his writings, bringing the reader along for the ride, through the good and bad times.

Brendan completed his MBA with Columbia Southern, is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Change Management Consultant, and holds other certifications. He has a passion for self-improvement and leadership. Brendan has been married to his beautiful wife for over 33 years. They have three amazing daughters (all grown now) and their dog Claire.
