We are told, either by the world or even by our own selves, that we need to be strong, pull it together, and fight it out.

How many times do we hear that we need to be compassionate toward our wounded, hurt, and broken parts?

Let me ask you this: How often do you feel powerless on any given day—overwhelmed by obligations and unrealistic expectations, stuck in situations that feel impossible to change, or victimized by people or emotions you can’t control?
